Udruga Handmade in Zagreb is not-for-profit organization where few seasoned craftsman, artists  and entrepreneurs come together to design, produce and showcase their creations to the World.

We form our non profit in summer 2012 with idea to present our work  to  local people in Zagreb and tourists.  We set up our gallery in place where one of our members was working for 3 years. It is small 25 sqm, but with  great location in old town center

Close to our first year anniversary we get surprise of our life.

On the eve of Croatian entering EU, 30,06,2013  we had a special guest,  Lithuania president Mars Dalia Grybauskaite. That night she also become  leading politician of EU for 6 months. She was one of the guests officially congratulating Croatia for becoming 28 member state. 

She loved our products, ideas and made us to promise  that in her 6 month presidency we will grow out of our local character and will start to share our ideas with other European artists. 

This blog is evidence that we kept our promise.
